Product owner Payments @ ABN AMRO
Yvonne Duits career at Dutch bank ABN AMRO started in 2009. In her current roll of Product owner Payments she is successfully leading the strategy and development for Digital Payments. Being passionate about innovation, strategy and customer experience she created a new product not only for ABN AMRO clients, but with them. In the past 12 months, 500 ABN AMRO customers have experimented with paying via wearables and their responses have been hugely favourable: no less than 80% of test users preferred wearables to a regular bank card. Last November she announced that ABN AMRO is launching contactless payments with wearables for all its retail customers, and is therefore worldwide the first bank that can offer this. Customers are offered a choice in various wearables from Garmin and Fitbit smartwatches to passive wearables like a ring or bracelet.
