Software Engineer @ Uber

Alexander Shopov is currently working as a backend engineer at Uber’s Dev office in Amsterdam. Current work is ondemand payments to partners (Push button – get money). As a result Uber is moving billions of dollars to millions of people. Previously he was at Cisco and even before that he was a normal Java developer in an enterprise environment dancing and chanting around the corporate database.
Alex contributes to Open Source and Free Software projects like git, GNU, Gnome and others not starting with the letter “G”.
